Name: carmen rome' Birthday: 5/19/1990
Interests: jesus christ is my first love, and my life is his. :) i'm an extremely blessed girl. god has given me an incredible boyfriend, darren, and the most amazing friends on ten planets. life would seem empty and dull without them. i love spending time with them and getting to know them better. my family is incredible... my puppy, roxy, is the best secret keeper i've ever known. she is well acquainted with all my problems. :) music is my fuel. i'll listen to basically every genre of music with the exceptions of country and rap. yuck. i love to sing, anytime, anywhere. especially when no one is listening. playing volleyball makes me happy. but i'm narrowminded when it comes to other sports. :) i'm no good at keeping nina outta trouble, and i'm learning to love like he does. Expertise: turning several shades of red, laughing at the wrong times, unintentionally hurting myself and others, starspinning, confusing people, confusing myself, saying sorry repeatedly, leaving embarressing messages on answering machines, running into doors, leaping before i look, making wishes, absentmindedness, breaking curfew, and some claim that i'm a suck-up. i beg to differ. Occupation: dreamer.

| Derrick Moser, aka, youth leader/Sunday School teacher challenged us to find out if we will know each other in Heaven. after some searching, I think I found something that makes sense. mind you, these are not my ideas, but ideas of a man named Clay Willis.. .. enjoy:) In my humble opinion, the best proof that we will know each other in Heaven was given by the Apostle Paul in his first letter to the church in Corinth: " But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?" How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. " All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor. " So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. " ( 1Corinthians 15:35-44, NIV) Paul's analogy comparing the body to a seed is meaningful. If you plant a seed of corn, you will recognize what grows from that to be corn; plant a rose, and your will recognize what grows from that to be a rose. It follows that if Carmen Overholt is planted, what will come from that will be recognized as Carmen Overholt. He tells us plainly that, "if there is a natural, i.e., physical, body, there is also a spiritual body." There is every reason to believe that spiritual bodies will be recognized by those who knew the physical body. The spiritual body will be perfect, not flawed as are all physical bodies, but certainly those who knew the physical body will be able, perhaps after a little confusion, to recognize the spiritual body of our loved one. now .. doesn't that make perfect sense? | | |
